This is a small and unusual range. Only about 10 Montpellier items are listed, dated between 1999-2000 and 2020-21, and roughly seven of them are Match Issue shirts — garments prepared for the squad rather than sold in shops. They are numbered and named for players including Fournel, Loko, Ouadah, Costa, J. Marveaux and Lefevre, and several are long-sleeved. If you are looking for a standard retail replica, there is very little of that here.
The remainder is two Nike training shirts, from 2012-13 and 2017-18, and a 2020-21 goalkeeper shirt graded 10/10. One 2002-03 entry is a youth-team away or goalkeeper shirt rather than a first-team item. Eight of the ten items are graded Very Good, one Excellent and one Mint, so condition across the page is consistent rather than varied.
The club’s origins go back to 1919, but Montpellier HSC in its present form was created in 1974 through a merger of Stade Olympique Montpellierain and AS Paillade. Home matches are played at the Stade de la Mosson. Laurent Blanc is the club’s all-time leading scorer, and Eric Cantona, Roger Milla, Carlos Valderrama and Olivier Giroud all played in Montpellier’s colours, so a named shirt from the right season carries more than club interest.
