Of the roughly 22 Maradona items listed, the 1984-85 Napoli home, away and third shirts are Linea Time reissues, the 1994 Argentina away shirt and shorts are adidas Originals reissues and the 1995-96 Boca Juniors home shirt is an Olan reissue. They are modern remakes of historic designs, not shirts from the period. They are also the only way his Napoli and Boca years are represented here.
The original garments in the range are Argentina shirts from the mid-1990s: 1994-97 away long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts and a 1994 home long-sleeve, all numbered 10, in grades from 4/10 Fair up to 8/10 Excellent. About 14 of the 22 items are Argentina, four Napoli and one Boca Juniors. The rest are not garments at all: a 1989-90 Napoli bucket hat, a 2016 Puma polo shirt and two A3 prints.
Maradona played for Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla and Newell’s Old Boys, and led Napoli to their first Serie A title. He was the first player to set the world record transfer fee twice, moving to Barcelona for £5 million in 1982 and to Napoli for £6.9 million in 1984. He won 91 caps for Argentina and captained the side to the 1986 World Cup, taking the Golden Ball. He died in 2020.
