QPR retro shirts: the west London hoops – page 3
Blue and white hoops make Queens Park Rangers instantly recognisable. Below are QPR shirts from the late 1980s on: home and away kits, third shirts, goalkeeper tops and training wear.
Hoops from Shepherd's Bush
QPR’s hoops are the club’s signature, and the shirts here show the many ways kit makers have drawn them, from thin to wide and from pale to deep blue. Errea and Lotto made several of the shirts in the collection. QPR won the League Cup in 1967 as a Third Division club, one of the great upsets of English football.
Names on the back
Adel Taarabt is the most printed name, from his years as the side’s playmaker. Bobby Zamora, scorer of the late winner in the 2014 play-off final, Les Ferdinand and Eberechi Eze also turn up.
Home first
Home shirts make up the largest group, but away kits and goalkeeper tops are well represented too.
Condition and sizing
Each shirt is graded on condition and listed with its size.
