The green and white home shirt is the core of the Rapid range, from the mid-1990s onwards. Two caveats worth knowing up front.
First, away shirts are few: if that is what you want, the choice will be limited to a handful of seasons. Second, goalkeeper shirts take up an unusually large share here — proportionally far more than on most clubs in the catalogue.
The range does not reach back to the European finals of 1985 and 1996. Prices stay within a narrow band, without the high-end pieces found at other Austrian clubs.
Founded in 1899 and based in Hütteldorf, in Vienna’s fourteenth district, Rapid have played in the top flight without interruption since the 1911-12 season. With thirty-two national titles they hold the Austrian record.
They won the Mitropa Cup in 1930 and 1951, and reached the Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1985 and again in 1996. In 1941, during the annexation of Austria, Rapid were crowned German champions — a singular episode in their history. Deeply rooted in working-class Vienna, they remain by some distance the most followed club in the country.
The Player Issue label means a shirt prepared for the professional squad: closer cut, sometimes different finishing. It does not mean match worn, which is listed separately. The 1-10 grade covers wear alone.
